| STILL and yet / Much of my thinking in video turns on my experiences as a still photographer. STILL and yet highlights the genre of “snapshot” and corresponding seductive power of the personal image. Rather than fragmenting the narrative as in traditional cinematic language, I am interested in a moment held, or frozen, and our tendency to imagine beyond an undeniable reality present before us. |
